gbl Cutaway guitars show great volume, a differentiated sound, high transparency and quick tuning.
This is achieved by a careful selection and excellent craftmanship of the type of bracing (modified X-bracing).

The selection of woods also add to the characteristic sound of the instrument. The top e.g. can be made of matured spruce. The body can be manufactured out of a variety of tonewoods: maple, Indian rosewood, Rio palisander, walnut or cherry.

The necks are made preferably from maple and are enforced with an adjustable truss rod which is accessible through the sound hole. The shape and width of the neck can be tailored to customer's requirements.

Fretboard and bridge are made of ebony or Rio palisander, the edging is created out of woodchips.

If required the head can be designed as classic style. For the machine heads you can select e.g. mini M6 Schaller-style with ebony tuners and for classic style Schaller Hauser-style.

The mensur measures as a standard 650 mm, saddle and nut are made from bone.
